In addition to the RAW-MDA1, the new lineup of DACs from SMSL also includes the RAW-DAC1 and the older RAW Pro-DAC1. Today I propose to move further up the chain and talk about the regular version of DAC1, especially since it is based not on ESS, but on a fresh clutch of flagship chips from Asahi Kasei with some simply prohibitively low distortion and MQA-CD support. Otherwise we still have the same XMOS on USB, Qualcomm on bluetooth and audiophile I2S input as a highlight. In short, the device is fantastic.
