After the great success of the whole series of planar headphones under the common name PR1, Knowledge Zenith made two successful decisions at once: firstly it went for a collaboration with the famous blogger HBB, and secondly it decided to make the design even cheaper. That is, in the new PR2 we get objectively better setup for much less money. The driver, as far as I understand, remains the same - a planar with a diameter of 13.2 mm.
