Not so long ago, we examined in some detail the stationary SMSL SU-6 DAC, capturing, among other things, the SMSL SH-6 headphone amplifier created for it. Today, I propose to dwell on this amplifier more closely, and also compare it with the closest competitor from Topping. In short, we have two gain modes 0 and +15.5 dB, a separately output ground, a maximum output power of 1.3 W into 32 ohms of load and the most lightweight compact case. Far from being a titan killer, but the device is very solid.
